Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Takuru (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Description of service
Takuru turns a topic and source material into a finished video through an automated pipeline covering research, scriptwriting, visual generation, voice, and editing, with review checkpoints along the way.
Your account
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or intended to mislead viewers into believing it is unedited factual footage of real events. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the source material you submit and, subject to your subscription plan's terms, of the videos Takuru generates for you. You grant Takuru a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.
Third-party AI providers
Generating scripts, visuals, and voice may involve sending your inputs to third-party AI model providers. Those providers process this data under their own terms in order to return results to Takuru.
Subscriptions and payment
Some features may require a paid plan. Pricing, billing terms, and cancellation policies will be presented to you before you subscribe and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Takuru does not guarantee that generated content will be error-free, and you're responsible for reviewing and approving output before publishing or relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Takuru will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
